Short version: Your selfies are deleted within 1 hour. Your generated photos are deleted after 7 days. We never sell your data. You can request deletion at any time.
1. What We Collect
When you use DatingShot, we collect only what's necessary to provide the service:
- Email address — to send you your gallery link and transactional notifications
- Gender selection — to generate appropriate photos
- Selfie photos — used only for AI generation, then deleted
- Session identifier — anonymous URL-based token, no account needed
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card details
We do not collect: name, date of birth, location, device identifiers, or any tracking cookies beyond what's required for the service.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Selfies → sent to Google Gemini API for photo generation, then deleted within 1 hour
- Email → used only to send: gallery ready notification, download link, expiry reminder
- No data is used for advertising, profiling, or sold to third parties

4. Third-Party Services
- Google Gemini API — AI image generation. Your photos are sent to Google's API for generation (see their terms).
- Stripe — Secure payment processing. DatingShot never stores card data.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery (gallery links, purchase confirmations).
- Railway / hosting provider — Server infrastructure within the EU/US.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising trackers.
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the following rights:
- Access — Request a copy of data we hold about you
- Deletion — Request immediate deletion of all your data
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
- Portability — Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — Object to processing for certain purposes
To exercise any of these rights, email support@datingshot.com with your session ID. We will respond within 24 hours.
6. Security
- All data transmitted over HTTPS / TLS
- File storage is access-controlled and not publicly browsable
- No passwords or authentication — session IDs are unique, unguessable UUIDs
- Automatic deletion ensures minimal data exposure window
7. Children's Privacy
DatingShot is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted photos, contact us immediately for deletion.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
